New Who, the next Doctor

Blimey, the new week hasn't even begun, this weeks episode hasn't even aired and the BBC are already launching next weeks excuse to keep Doctor Who in the news. And this time it's a big one...

The 10th Doctor will be David Tennant, who is currently being excellent in Casanova. Here's the press release. The BBC news website also has coverage, of course, including a section for comments about the choice, a picture gallery of previous roles, and the same text from the press release reformated in every place they can.

Personally I think that he'll be a great Doctor, plus I can't wait to see the regeneration.

Meanwhile, tonight, aliens crash in London.
