Colonel Tigh lets things get even more out of control as he enforces marshall law.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Colonel Tigh bores me. He's an alcoholic, he's rubbish, I don't like him, I hate his wife too. Which meant that a lot of this episode didn't appeal to me. Send the troops in to get supplies from civillian ships? Good idea! Duh.
On top of that the Caprica plot is going nowhere fast. Again. Despite swapping whining Sharon for Starbuck. And all that futuristic pyramid ball stuff. No, no, no. If you can't do SF sports better than rollerball than don't do it.
Man of the episode once again goes to Baltar for his wonderfully inventive methods of interrogating Sharon, even if it almost did kill the Chief. More crazy Baltar please.
Meanwhile Apollo and the President slip away to hopefully do something more interesting than sit in a cell.
And then Adama wakes up, which means the plot lines are mostly tied up from last season.
The ending where Sharon gets shot felt very cheesey to me, walking down the corridor with a handful of shouting protestors. It made more sense when she got shot, but still a heavy handed popular reference.
Not one of the best Battlestar Galactica episodes.
