Battlestar Galactica 209 - Flight of the Phoenix
A virus is discovered inside Galatica's systems, whilst the crew slowly go stir crazy.
Quick verdict : Enjoyable but too similar to previous episodes and ultimately forgettable.
SPOILERS ahead...
I guess I would call this episode solid but unremarkable. There were some good things: hundreds of cylon raiders attacking was nice, the new viper was pretty groovy, the fact that the crew were going a bit nuts was good, Apollo starting to fancy Dee was unexpected.
But there were also some bad bits: heuristic viruses, Sharon shoving a fibre optic cable in her arm, the fake tension of Starbuck disappearing, and most of all not enough crazy Baltar! Something new needs to be added to the mix to make the now familiar ideas new, like happened in Final Cut.
Character of the episode has to go to The Chief who not only got in a fight but built a Viper. Not bad work.
All in all a (probably) forgettable episode.
