Geeks or Junkies?

Richard@SciFi UK Revew reckons we're SF Junkies, not SF Geeks.

Wikipedia defines a Geek as...

"A geek is a person who is fascinated, perhaps obsessively, by obscure or very specific areas of knowledge and imagination."

...and junkie as...

"A junkie (or junky) is a heroin addict. The word has also come to be used to describe addicts in general."

I think I'd prefer to be called a Geek to a Junkie, but perhaps i'm neither.
