Doctor Who - Age Of Steel

So the Doctor escapes the cliff-hanger in the first second of the episode using a ridiculous deus ex machina. Oh well. The episode then dissolves into some running around and an action finale.

There were some nice scary moments, especially the bit where the Doctor and Mrs Moore walk down the tunnel of sleeping Cybermen.Well, scary for kids anyway. they at least seemed a bit more menacing. Also, quite a bit of death this episode, lots of people seemed to die. "DELETE" etc.

The big shock was that Ricky decided to stay in the alternate universe, the end, bye bye Ricky. That's what I guess the love triangle was building to in the previous episodes, to give that moment a bit more poignancy. Unfortunately I think that's what this episode misses and what the first episode had, some emotional moments.
