The judges didn’t read too many comics this year, although they did venture into the world of Manga for the first time.

Y: The Last Man is awesome, and finally finishes this year. Other comics I'd recommend as having been awesome this year: The Eternals by Neil Gaiman, and Fell by Warren Ellis, and also Nextwave by Mr. Ellis. Awesomosity.

The Eternals sounded interesting. I'm not exactly plugged into the comics scene anymore, and tend only to read collections if they appear in my local library (or first issues appear free online!)
