Doctor Who nominated for a BAFTA

Doctor Who has been nominated for the Best Drama Series BAFTA. It's up against pretty major competition, in the form of Bodies (medical drama from BBC2), Shameless (comedy from Channel 4) and Spooks (spy drama from BBC1). Having said that, the last series of Spooks was disappointing compared to the excellent series before. So my vote foes to Doctor Who,if I was a BAFTA member and could vote, but I'm not so I can't. However....

Doctor Who is also nominated in one other category, the Pioneer Audience Award for Best Programme of 2005 which is decided by public vote.
