More of the Ken MacLeod interview

Paul at Velcro City Tourist Board has the offcuts from his SF Site interview of Ken MacLeod. Quite a bit of extra content there. Some good advice on finding the core of a novel...

I sent a second draft to Iain’s agent, Mic Cheetham, who showed me what was wrong with it by asking: ‘If it was a film, what would you put on the poster?’

“I replied, ‘It’s about a man who gets killed but his gun goes on fighting.’

“‘Go and write *that* book,’ she said.
